There may be a reason to unpair your Reach from your current phone and either pair it to a new phone or pair a new device to your existing phone. Below are the steps to remove the current Reach from your phone and get set up again.

Why do we do this?

Sometimes you will need to re-pair your Reach. Here are a few reasons why:

  1. You have a brand new phone - congrats!

  2. You need to switch the device the Reach is paired to

  3. You have a new Reach due to an exchange or upgrade

  4. You were un-paired due to a technical issue

Is my Reach connected?

To re-pair your Reach you must first disconnect your Reach. Use the image below to determine if your Reach is already disconnected.

Reset your Reach and Device Settings

Step 1: Close completely out of your Silvertree App

Completely close out of the Silvertree app. (Learn how to here)

Step 2: Disconnect the Bluetooth connection from your phone settings

How to: Android

  1. Open your phone Settings

  2. Go to "Connected Devices"

  3. Find the device that starts with ST (if you do not see ST, you have already disconnected the connection)

  4. Click on it or the gear icon next to the Reach.

  5. Click "Forget this Device" and confirm.

How to: iPhone

  1. Open your phone 'Settings'

  2. Go to 'Bluetooth'

  3. Find the device that starts with ST (if you do not see ST, you have already disconnected the connection)

  4. Click on it or the information icon next to the Reach.

  5. Click"Forget Device"

Step 4: Reset your Reach device

Next we will clear the Reach from remembering the phone. If you don't do this step, the Reach may try to automatically re-connect to the phone and not connect to the Silvertree app. This means the Silvertree app will not actually paired

To reset your Reach device, put the Reach on the dock and hold the button on the side of the Reach for 10 seconds. The Reach should then turn blue indicating the Reach has successfully been reset. For detailed steps see how to reset your Reach here.

Step 5- Re-pair your Reach in the Silvertree app

Re-open your Silvertree app. Under 'Device' you should see 'Add a Device'. You can now re-pair your Silvertree Reach.
