Knowing how to force close the Silvertree app is a great tool to know for optimizing your device's performance and troubleshooting issues. Apps can sometimes freeze or need a fresh start. 'Force closing' an app is a term we use when we completely close it out without having to delete it. This can potentially resolve any errors or glitches!

iPhone

Step 1: Swipe from the bottom

Swipe up from the bottom of your screen and pause midway to open the "Multi-tasking" view. This will display all currently open apps.

Step 2: Stop midway

Find the Silvertree app among the previews in the multi-tasking view.

Step 3: Swipe to close

To force close the Silvertree app, swipe up on its preview to remove it from the list, thereby closing it.

Android

Step 1: Access Multi-Tasking

Access your phone's multi-tasking interface with one of these options:

  • For smartphones with three icons at the bottom, tap the three vertical lines (Samsung Galaxy) or the square button (most other Androids).

  • For gesture-based navigation, swipe up from the bottom to the middle of the screen and hold for a moment before releasing.

Step 2: Find the Silvertree app

Locate the Silvertree app among the previews in your phone's multi-tasking view.

Step 3: Swipe to close

Place your finger on the Silvertree app's preview, then swipe it upwards to force close the app.

⚠️ Due to the large array of smartphone manufacturers, some older Android devices may handle accessing multitasking differently.
